We have been closely monitoring developments regarding COVID-19 and have been following recommended guidance from the State Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control to prevent the spread of any respiratory illness.
Indoor activities including Community Canine are postponed until further notice. Outdoor activities like Canine Good Citizen and S.T.A.R. Puppy Training are small-group outdoor activities without close contact. Our routine is to keep dogs on leash and stay 5-6 feet apart. We are currently planning to be able to offer these classes as scheduled. If circumstances change and it becomes unsafe to hold classes or the County closes the parks, we will postpone as necessary. CGC and S.T.A.R Puppy classes scheduled to begin May 2 are full. Please email us to be on our mailing list for future dog training classes. Individual outdoor activities are still encouraged, so head outside and walk your dogs! Fresh air and exercise increase overall health and well-being. Here is some information from AKC regarding pets and COVID-19 virus: https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/news/can-dogs-get-coronavirus/
