The next Canine Good Citizen class begins Saturday, March 29, 2025
Time: 9:45 AM to 11:00 AM Place: Higashihara Park Length: 9 weeks on Saturday mornings. No class over Memorial Day. Proposed ending date May 31. Canine Good Citizen is a 10-skill test that teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners. This class is best suited for adult dogs over 1 year old. All participants must provide proof of current vaccinations. Cost $125 for new Club Members Please email us to sign up. Congratulations to Candice, with Corgis Quigley and Taz, for multiple ribbons and titles in the December AKC Obedience and Rally trials in Hilo! Please contact us about the next AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class beginning Tuesday, October 8, at 4:45 PM at Higashihara Park for 6 weeks. For puppies under 1 year of age. Proof of 3 completed puppy vaccinations required prior to start of class.  CGC - Canine Good Citizen. Email us to inquire. The September class is full.
Basic training and manners class for adult dogs that are over one year old, OR have graduated S.T.A.R. Puppy. Saturdays, September 7, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (arrive at 9:45 AM) Higashihara Park 9 weeks, ending November 2 First class session SEPTEMBER 7 is mandatory, humans only, NO DOGS. All participants must provide proof of dog's up to date vaccinations. Cost is $125 for New Club Members. If your dog is under 1 year old as of September 7, and has not yet had S.T.A.R. All participants must provide proof of completed puppy vaccinations. Cost $125 for new Club Members Please email us to sign up Congratulations to Kate & Candice at the Hilo Obedience and Rally Trials, June 8-9, 2024. Candice/Quigley took 1st place in Novice Rally B, and Kate/Heidi 1st place in Novice Rally A. Candice/Taz took 1st place in Intermediate Rally. Kate/Heidi received 1st place and completed Beginner Novice Obedience and Novice Rally Titles. Kate/Eddie and Candice/Taz completed Beginner Novice Obedience Titles. Practice and persistence! |
